Those Who Wear Their Nature Without Shame
✧ OPENING INVOCATION ✧
Not all who walk beneath Erosia’s moons are wholly human. Across forests, mountains, meadows, rivers, and windswept cliffs live the children of fur, feather, hoof, claw, and wing—peoples whose forms reflect ancient bonds between mortal souls and the living spirit of the natural world.
The peoples of Fur & Feather are not beasts made civilized, nor humans wearing animal traits. They are complete cultures, nations, and lineages with histories as rich and varied as any kingdom of Erosia. Some dwell in bustling cities beside humans and Veilkin. Others keep ancestral territories where old traditions remain strong beneath the watchful gaze of the Three Moons.
The Peoples of Fur & Feather: Hoof and Claw, Wing and Talon
Though their appearances vary dramatically, they share several common truths:
- Strong connections to community and family.
- Deep respect for natural cycles and seasonal change.
- Distinct cultural traditions tied to their ancestral animal archetypes.
- Extraordinary physical adaptations that shape their daily lives.
- Great diversity in appearance, beliefs, professions, and personalities.
The peoples of Fur & Feather are traditionally divided into three broad groups:

Beastkin (Hoof and Claw)
What it means to be Beastkin:
The furred and hoofed peoples of the land. Hunters, shepherds, artisans, wanderers, guardians, and farmers whose cultures are shaped by forests, grasslands, mountains, and hearthlands.

Avarian/Avian (Wing and Talon)
What it means to be Beastkin
The avian peoples who dwell among cliffs, towers, forests, and high winds. Their societies often value perspective, memory, freedom, vigilance, and mastery of the skies.
✧ TRANSITION
To choose this path is to embrace what you are without hesitation.
No veil.
No disguise.
No apology.
Only presence.
A Shared Legacy
Though their appearances differ greatly, the peoples of Fur & Feather share a common place within Erosia’s tapestry. They are hunters and healers, farmers and scholars, warriors and dreamers. Their cultures are as varied as the lands they call home, yet each reflects a simple truth:
The world of Erosia was never meant for one people alone.
Beneath the Red Moon, Blue Moon, and White Moon, every lineage has a place to bloom.
