Children of Grove, Bloom, and Gentle Might
“Do not mistake softness for surrender. Spring breaks stone every year.” – Bloomtouched proverb
loomtouched are a people shaped where divine abundance overflowed into mortal blood.
Some trace their ancestry to blessings of Talyss, whose joy quickens seed and womb alike. Others speak of Aratheia’s comfort carried through family lines, or of ancient groves where ley-roots awakened those born nearby.
Where a Bloomtouched lineage takes hold, life grows stubbornly.
Fruit ripens heavy. Springs run sweeter. Illness lingers less. Quarrels cool faster around shared tables. Gardens reclaim abandoned walls. Children laugh louder.
Yet Bloomtouched are not merely symbols of plenty. They understand that growth is not always gentle. Roots split foundations. Thorns guard roses. Flooded grain rots if unharvested.
Thus they revere abundance with responsibility.
Most Bloomtouched are known for patience, hospitality, emotional honesty, and immense protective instinct. But when cruelty threatens those under their care, they become the force of living things refusing extinction.
Bloomtouched Appearance

Bloomtouched are tall, broad, and strikingly grounded in presence.
Common traits include:
- heights commonly between 7 and 8 feet
- powerful frames built for lifting, carrying, and enduring
- soft strength rather than harsh severity
- bark-like freckles or woodgrain birthmarks
- floral or vine-pattern markings along shoulders and limbs
- hair braided with moss, leaves, flowers, beads, or ribbons
- eyes calm and deep in green, amber, brown, blue, violet, or gold
- occasional small antlers, branch crowns, or leaf-vein glow beneath skin
They appear like kindness given stature.
Bloomtouched Society

Bloomtouched communities are often found in orchard settlements, hot-spring villages, traveling garden caravans, mountain groves, and wide communal lodges.
They prize:
- hospitality as sacred duty
- shared meals as social medicine
- child-rearing by the whole community
- practical beauty
- emotional truth spoken plainly
- slow justice rather than swift anger
- labor that sustains others
Many settlements keep seed libraries, healing kitchens, bathhouses, and feast circles open to strangers. To deny aid without cause is considered shameful.
Bloomtouched Adventurers

Bloomtouched leave home for many reasons:
- to protect the vulnerable beyond their borders
- to recover sacred seeds, springs, or relic groves
- to heal lands blighted by war or greed
- to prove gentleness and strength can coexist
- to satisfy quiet curiosity about the wider world
- to hunt those who prey upon the helpless
They excel as druids, clerics, rangers, barbarians, fighters, monks, and any hero who can stand firm for others.
