Beyond the Mortal World
The Veil is not another kingdom waiting to be discovered, nor is it simply another plane of existence separated from the mortal world by distance or space.
Instead, the Veil exists alongside reality, touching every mountain, every forest, every ocean, and every living soul. It cannot be reached by walking far enough or sailing beyond the horizon. It has always been present, hidden just beyond ordinary perception.

For all the knowledge accumulated by scholars, priests, and adventurers throughout history, no one has uncovered a complete understanding of its nature. Every magical tradition has illuminated part of the truth, yet none have revealed the whole.
That uncertainty is not a flaw in the study of magic.
It is the reason the study continues.
As long as the Veil remains a mystery, there will always be new discoveries to make, new philosophies to challenge, and new generations willing to devote their lives to understanding the unseen foundation of reality.
