Solaris

Solaris (Sol)

The First Dawn
Primordial Titan of Light, Hope, Renewal, Truth, Courage, and Life Ever Reborn

Who is Sol

Before the first sunrise warmed the newborn world, before shadows had meaning, and before mortals gave names to light, fire, dawn, or hope, there was Sol.

Sol is not merely a creature of radiance. She is the first light that pierced creation’s silence, the eternal dawn that follows every darkest night, and the primordial promise that life will always rise again. Every sunrise, every guiding star, every healing warmth, and every act of selfless courage carries within it a fragment of the radiant essence entrusted to Sol since the beginning of creation.

To behold Sol is to witness living brilliance given graceful form. Her majestic body resembles a colossal griffon whose leonine strength is crowned not by an eagle’s head, but by the immortal beauty of a phoenix wrought entirely from radiant light. Golden-white plumage flows like living sunlight while her mane burns with gentle celestial fire that gives warmth without consuming. Vast wings shimmer with countless hues of dawn—gold, crimson, ivory, and rose—casting brilliant rays across the heavens with every beat. Where her talons touch the earth, flowers bloom, darkness retreats, and hope quietly returns.

Sol teaches that true strength is measured not by what one destroys, but by what one inspires to rise again. Light does not conquer darkness through violence. It simply exists, and darkness cannot remain where it shines. Every sunrise is both an ending and a beginning, proving that even the longest night is temporary before the certainty of the coming dawn.

Unlike mortal flame, Sol’s radiance never seeks glory for itself. It illuminates forgotten paths, warms the weary, strengthens the fearful, and reveals truth hidden beneath deception. Her fire is the fire of renewal rather than destruction, forever encouraging life to begin again after every hardship.

To Summoners, Sol is beacon, healer, and eternal guardian. She promises neither an easy road nor a world without suffering. Instead, she teaches that hope is strongest when freely chosen in the face of despair. Those who seek power for its own sake find only blinding light. Those who become a light for others discover that the First Dawn has always walked beside them.

Titan Bond

A Summoner who forges a bond with Sol becomes a living beacon whose presence kindles hope wherever darkness gathers.

As Sublimation grows, the Summoner begins to perceive the world through Sol’s eternal optimism. Every ending reveals another beginning. Every failure becomes another lesson. Every frightened heart becomes another opportunity to inspire courage. Every spell cast strengthens the ancient communion between Titan and Titan-Touched, allowing another ray of the First Dawn to illuminate the mortal world.

The bond reveals itself through subtle changes long before a true Manifestation occurs. Their skin carries a gentle warmth even during winter’s coldest nights, while faint golden light dances within their eyes whenever they act with compassion or unwavering resolve. Tiny motes of radiant light drift around them at sunrise and sunset, dissolving into sparkling embers that vanish before touching the ground. Their presence instinctively eases fear, while flowers seem to bloom more readily wherever they linger.

During moments of intense Sublimation, the Summoner hears distant birdsong carried upon a warm breeze regardless of the season. Darkness never feels quite as oppressive, and even beneath overcast skies, they sense the certainty that the sun continues shining beyond the clouds. The heartbeat of Sol is neither thunderous nor quiet—it is the steady rhythm of dawn faithfully returning after every night.

Sol asks for neither worship nor blind devotion. She asks only that her chosen never allow despair to extinguish their compassion. Every act of mercy, courage, sacrifice, or honest guidance deepens the bond, while cruelty, hopelessness, and deliberate deception cause the radiance to dim. Those who remain true discover that Sol is not merely lending them the light of creation. She is teaching them how to become a dawn for others.

Manifestation

As the Summoner’s Sublimation reaches its peak, darkness begins to recede without command. The air grows pleasantly warm as golden rays descend through clouds that moments before concealed the sky. Brilliant feathers of radiant light drift gently downward while every shadow softens beneath an ever-brightening horizon. Then comes the unmistakable cry of Sol—a majestic call that carries both the fierce majesty of the lion and the triumphant song of the immortal phoenix.

A Sol Manifestation is not summoned through command or force. It is an act of perfect harmony between the Primordial Titan and the Titan-Touched who has learned to become a source of hope rather than merely seeking it. Sol answers only those who willingly carry light into darkness without expectation of reward, allowing a measured fragment of the First Dawn to descend into the mortal world.

Each milestone of the Summoner class deepens this sacred communion. Early Manifestations reveal only glimpses of Sol’s radiant wings and leonine majesty, while later Manifestations allow increasingly greater portions of her celestial form to grace the battlefield. Her true brilliance never fully enters the mortal realm, for no mortal world could withstand the full glory of creation’s first light. Every appearance is a measured answer to a bond strengthened through courage, compassion, truth, and selfless devotion.

While Manifested, Sol transforms the battlefield into an extension of the eternal dawn. Radiant light strengthens allies and dispels fear, wounds close beneath warm golden brilliance, hidden dangers are revealed, and creatures of darkness recoil before the unmistakable authority of the First Dawn. Every beat of her immense wings fills the air with drifting embers of living sunlight that kindle hope in even the weariest hearts. When the Manifestation concludes, the radiance slowly fades into the first colors of morning, leaving behind renewed spirits, blooming life, and the comforting certainty that dawn always follows the longest night.
