Children of the Moon Pack, Keepers of Loyalty and Fierce Grace
“Trust is earned in drops and spent in floods.” – Lupinari proverb
upinari are the wolf-blooded peoples of Hoof & Claw, heirs to pine forests, snow roads, mountain lodges, moonlit hunts, and the enduring strength of chosen pack. Where some lineages prize independence above all things, the Lupinari are known for loyalty, courage, discipline, and the belief that no worthy burden should be carried alone.
They descend from ancient Beastkin bloodlines touched by wolf instinct—keen awareness, coordinated action, emotional honesty, and the readiness to defend kin with terrible resolve. To outsiders they are sometimes mistaken as harsh or overly serious. In truth, Lupinari laughter can be loud, affection direct, and celebrations legendary. They simply reserve their deepest warmth for those who prove worthy of it.
Lupinari culture teaches that strength without devotion becomes cruelty, and freedom without responsibility becomes abandonment. Pack is central to many communities, though pack need not mean blood family. Companions, comrades, lovers, adopted kin, and sworn allies may all hold equal place.
Across Erosia, Lupinari are found as rangers, soldiers, caravan guards, scouts, judges, wardens, blacksmiths, healers, and steadfast companions whose presence makes dangerous roads feel survivable.
Lupinari Appearance

Lupinari possess expressive humanoid faces framed by wolf ears rising from the crown of the head. Their features often carry intensity, alertness, and strong emotional readability. Eyes are commonly amber, grey, blue, brown, silver, or pale gold.
Hair is often thick and worn in braids, battle tails, loose winter lengths, shaved-sides styles, or practical knots. Visible human ears are absent.
Their upper bodies are humanoid and athletic, while forearms are furred below the elbow, ending in strong hands with clawed nails. From the hips downward, Lupinari bodies transition into fully furred forms with muscular digitigrade wolf legs built for endurance running, sudden bursts of speed, and rough terrain travel. A thick tail is common and highly expressive.
Fur colors include grey, black, white, brown, silver, red-grey, and mixed patterns.
Lupinari beauty ideals often favor confidence, healthy fur, scars honorably earned, physical capability, honest gaze, and reliability proven through deed.
Lupinari Society

Lupinari communities are known as packs, lodges, moonholds, or watch clans. Many also live fully integrated in mixed cities where they often form strong neighborhood bonds and mutual defense circles.
Several values are common among Lupinari cultures:
Loyalty. Trust, once given, is sacred.
Responsibility. Strength exists to protect more than self.
Honesty. Hidden resentment poisons the whole pack.
Endurance. Difficult roads are walked together.
Merit. Respect is earned through action.
Lupinari gatherings often feature shared meals, contests of strength or skill, storytelling, dancing, communal howls or songs, and rituals of oath-taking beneath moonlight.
Lupinari Adventurers

Many Lupinari leave home to guard caravans, hunt threats, redeem failures, prove themselves, seek worthy comrades, or answer a call no one else would. Some leave because they do not fit traditional pack expectations. Others wander because the road itself becomes pack enough.
Lupinari thrive as fighters, paladins, rangers, barbarians, clerics, monks, and any calling rewarding courage, endurance, teamwork, or protective instinct.
