Remaining perfectly composed while others talked around you taught you patience, discipline and the peculiar advantage of being present while everyone behaves as though you aren’t listening.

Work with your GM to determine where you learned the art of becoming Beautifully Useful. Perhaps you were a prized ornament in an aristocratic household, posed during elaborate celebrations, served as ceremonial furniture in a temple or found willing patrons who delighted in displaying you. Were you celebrated for your beauty and composure, treated as an amusing novelty, or did you discover that being underestimated gave you access to conversations never meant for your ears?

You know how to make yourself unobtrusive even while remaining plainly visible.
