Erosia’s deities are active powers, but mortals disagree about how to honor them, interpret their actions and respond to their influence. An organization reveals its theology through ordinary decisions: who receives supper, who controls a record, whose promise can end and who bears the cost of a miracle.

Faith made practical

The Returning Key makes the ending of entrusted authority as solemn as its beginning. The Resting Hand gives caregivers permission and practical help to rest. The Last Seed Covenant protects tomorrow’s planting within the Gathered Hand. Their difficulties arise from imperfect judgment and limited resources as well as opposition.

When devotion becomes distortion

The Crown Without Dusk turns commitment into permanent entitlement. The Everflower Communion mistakes endless growth for abundance. The Unshuttered Eye turns chosen visibility into compulsory disclosure. These are mortal corruptions of divine teachings, not evidence that the deities secretly endorse the harm.

Belief without political obedience

The Mortal Lamp Assembly accepts that the gods exist while disputing their automatic right to govern. Its members may worship a deity, welcome a temple kitchen and still oppose a religious institution’s claim to an unelected council seat.

Doubt in a world of miracles

The School of the Unanswered Sky questions whether claimed gods are gods at all. Its investigators distinguish an observed phenomenon from a claim about its cause; its dogmatists sometimes reject evidence that contradicts them. These doubts are in-world beliefs. They do not overturn the setting’s active deities, and the mystery of the Three Mothers does not prove that the pantheon is imaginary.

Existing traditions remain distinct

Talyss already has the Bloomward Houses, Gathered Hand and Circle of the Petal. The Last Seed Covenant is a compact within that landscape. Solynth’s Houses of the Open Crescent, Threxia’s Houses of the Living Script, Zenthira’s Houses of the Whispered Heart and Velzhari’s Halls of Reflection retain their own purposes. The new fellowships do not create a supreme church above them.
