Performers guild and touring cooperative · Amarosa with traveling stages

Actors, dancers, mask-makers and stagehands protect the right to perform without surrendering ownership of one’s likeness. The Company negotiates tours, pays rehearsal wages and challenges unauthorized magical copies. Its ambition is a charter recognizing performers’ control over recordings, illusions and commercial impersonation.

Moral character: Good leaning and irreverent. Individual members may disagree with their organization’s conduct.

Leadership & control

Working members elect a stage council, with separate seats for performers and backstage labor. director Aven Rook, an older Silkborn nonbinary playwright, can make a provincial crowd understand a complicated injustice. They are less willing to hear criticism when their own acclaimed productions underpay apprentices.

Faith & moral tensions

Cyrillith is patron, not censor. Velzharian Veilbearers advise on deliberate presentation; Zenthiran counselors defend private lives. The Company opposes claims that accepting applause makes someone public property. Members disagree about satire, especially when an influential target calls all impersonation theft.

Resources & membership

Ticket shares, commissions and member contributions fund tours and injury support. An audition or demonstrated craft can secure entry; beauty and devotional practice are irrelevant. Anonymous performers may use registered stage names.

Daily life & internal tensions

The troupe posts crew names beside leading players and leaves a curtained exit after public events. A famous member’s likeness earns the Company money through a questionable license. Renouncing it would cost an entire season’s wages.

Adventure seed

An enchanted double performs a celebrated actor’s unfinished role with unsettling accuracy. Its maker claims the patron bought the performance outright. The party can investigate the contract, protect the actor’s private correspondence and decide whether the double is a tool or an independent person whose own choices now matter.
