The Relicwright & the Stalker Are Complete
There are moments in a long creative project where you realize you’re no longer building ideas—you’ve begun building a world.
This week was one of those moments.
Two more classes have crossed the finish line for Whispers of Erosia: Second Bloom Edition:
- The Relicwright
- The Stalker
With their completion, all twelve core player classes now exist as complete, publication-ready designs.
That feels surreal to write.
The Relicwright

The Engineer of Impossible Things
When we first began discussing an Erosian version of the Artificer, the obvious route would have been to build another magical inventor.
That isn’t what emerged. The Relicwright became something much more interesting. They are engineers of civilization itself. These are the people kingdoms summon when bridges must span impossible chasms, when ancient relics refuse to awaken, or when entire cities depend on a single impossible machine continuing to function. Magic is simply another engineering discipline.
Every invention begins with a single Spark—a crystallized reservoir of unrealized potential that can be refined, stored, and spent to power miraculous creations.
Rather than treating spellcasting as spontaneous inspiration, the Relicwright rewards careful preparation, experimentation, and calculated risk. Each Spark spent is another step toward a breakthrough that only its creator could envision.
It became one of the most satisfying design challenges in the entire project because every mechanic reinforces the fantasy of being the world’s greatest inventor instead of merely a wizard with tools.

The Stalker

Every Wilderness Has Eyes
The Ranger has always occupied a fascinating place in fantasy. Sometimes they’re hunters. Sometimes scouts. Sometimes monster slayers. For Erosia, we wanted something more focused.
The Stalker is defined by the pursuit.
Watching. Tracking. Learning. Waiting. Then striking with absolute certainty. Rather than simply wandering the wilderness, the Stalker excels at understanding prey—whether that prey is a beast, a criminal, a monster, or an ancient horror hidden deep beneath forgotten ruins. Its gameplay revolves around building information before committing to action. Every encounter becomes a hunt, rewarding patience, positioning, and precision instead of reckless aggression.
The class captures the fantasy of becoming the unseen predator whose greatest weapon is preparation.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating
When this project began, the goal wasn’t simply to create another fantasy setting with mature themes.
The goal was to ask a much larger question:
What if desire were treated with the same mechanical care that fantasy games already give to magic, martial combat, and divine power?
That question eventually became the Mechanics of Desire, a modular system built around Arousal, Climax, and Libido that sits alongside traditional Fifth Edition play without replacing it. Like the rest of Erosia, it’s designed to be entirely optional, allowing groups to embrace as much—or as little—of the setting’s unique systems as they choose.
Designing classes within that framework meant every class needed more than combat mechanics. Each required its own emotional identity, its own relationship with pressure, endurance, and release, and a unique heroic moment that players could build toward. That philosophy became the foundation of the entire class design process.
Now, after months of iteration…
- Wildheart
- Reveler
- Anointed
- Verdant Keeper
- Warbound
- Stillheart
- Oathsworn
- Stalker
- Veilwalker
- Bloodborn
- Pactsworn
- Sigilwright
- Relicwright
…the foundation of the game finally feels complete.
Every one of these classes was written specifically for Erosia rather than adapted from an existing concept. Each one answers a different fantasy while remaining fully compatible with the familiar 2014 Fifth Edition chassis.
Seeing them all together is an incredible feeling.
What’s Next?
Completing the core player classes doesn’t mean development slows down. If anything, this is where the world truly begins to expand. While the twelve core classes establish the foundation of Whispers of Erosia, two entirely original classes are waiting just beyond the horizon.
The Summoner

The Summoner is not a pet class. It is a hero chosen by the Primordial Titans themselves. Only those born Titan-Touched possess the ancient mark required to call forth a Titan’s Manifestation—a temporary physical emergence of one of the world’s oldest powers. Rather than commanding servants, Summoners forge a living bond with primordial beings that predate gods, kingdoms, and civilization itself. Their journey is one of earning trust, deepening that bond, and eventually standing beside the very forces that shaped Erosia.
The Invoker
If the Summoner draws strength from the First Age, the Invoker looks to the heroes who came after.
Invokers channel the spirits of legendary champions whose deeds changed history. These are not ghosts or undead, but heroic echoes that answer those worthy to carry their legacy. Every invocation represents a partnership between past and present, allowing players to temporarily embody the courage, skill, and ideals of Erosia’s greatest legends while forging stories worthy of joining them one day.

The Age of Titans
The Summoner cannot exist without first understanding the beings they call. That means the next major chapter of development explores the Primordial Titans—the living embodiments of the world’s fundamental forces.
These are not oversized monsters or elemental giants. They are the original expressions of creation itself. Each Titan carries its own philosophy, personality, and relationship with the people of Erosia, forming the cornerstone of the world’s primordial mythology.
Legends of Erosia
Every world has its heroes. Erosia remembers them.
As development continues, you’ll begin meeting the legendary figures whose victories, sacrifices, and impossible feats became the stories that every child grows up hearing. These champions won’t simply exist as pieces of lore—they will become the foundation of the Invoker class, allowing players to stand alongside history itself.
Then Comes Choice
With the foundations complete, it’s finally time to begin exploring the countless ways players can make each class their own.
Subclass design has always been where Fifth Edition shines, and Erosia will be no different.
Each subclass will deepen the fantasy of its parent class while introducing entirely new playstyles, stories, and expressions of the Mechanics of Desire. Whether you’re refining sacred oaths, mastering forbidden bloodlines, pursuing impossible inventions, or awakening deeper connections to the Veil, subclasses are where every player’s hero truly becomes unique.
The Player’s Handbook is no longer a collection of isolated ideas.
It has become a living world with its own history, mythology, and heroes.
Now it’s time to fill that world with legends.
