Description
You touch a willing creature and cause a small, spectral flower to appear on its wrist or clothing. The flower changes color when the creature deliberately speaks a falsehood, but it cannot determine whether a statement is objectively true. A creature that genuinely believes what it says does not change the flower. The flower is visible to any observer, sheds no light, and vanishes when the spell ends. You can maintain only one blossom witness at a time; casting the spell again ends the previous one.
- Veiled Effects. The creature may end the spell on itself at any time (no action required). When it does so, the flower opens and harmlessly scatters into petals, visibly signaling that the effect has ended.
- Unveiled Effects. If the willing creature has at least 1 Arousal when you cast this spell, it may reduce its Arousal by 1. A creature can receive this reduction from Blossom Witness only once per long rest. No EROS Save is required.
“A promise need not be perfect to be sincerely given.”
