Description
You harden the target’s muscles and connective tissue an instant before impact. Roll 1d6 and reduce the triggering attack’s bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage by the number rolled plus your spellcasting ability modifier (minimum reduction of 1). The spell has no effect on other damage types dealt by the attack.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, increase the damage reduction by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
- Veiled Effects. The protected creature may choose to remain standing if the triggering attack would otherwise knock it prone. This does not prevent other conditions or forced movement caused by the attack.
- Unveiled Effects. When you cast this spell, you may spend 1 Libido to increase its damage reduction by 1d6. If the protected creature is willing and has Arousal of 3 or higher, it may reduce its Arousal by 1 after the attack resolves.
