Description
Choose a creature you can see within range. An illusory duplicate appears in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of that creature. The duplicate resembles the creature’s silhouette, is intangible, and cannot attack, carry objects, block movement, or trigger opportunity attacks. Until the spell ends, a creature of your choice that can see the duplicate has disadvantage on the first Wisdom (Perception) check it makes on each of its turns to visually locate the original creature. A creature that uses its action to examine the duplicate can make an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC, recognizing it as an illusion on a success. The duplicate disappears if it is more than 30 feet from the original creature at the end of any turn.
- Veiled Effects. A willing target may dismiss its duplicate at any time (no action required). An unwilling target learns immediately that a duplicate has been created and may dismiss it on its turn by succeeding on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC (no action required).
- Unveiled Effects. When you cast this spell, you may spend 1 Libido. If you do, a willing target can immediately reduce its Arousal by 1, representing the relief of letting a hidden aspect of itself appear outside the body. An unwilling target receives no Arousal effect, and the duplicate never overrides the creature’s agency.
