Description
Choose a point within range. A luminous 30-foot-radius sphere of fiery red motes appears there. When the sphere appears, each creature inside makes a Dexterity saving throw, taking 14d6 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a success. For the spell’s duration, the sphere is difficult terrain for creatures you designate as hostile. The first time on each of its turns that a hostile creature enters the sphere or starts there, it takes 3d6 fire damage, no save. A creature can take this continuing damage no more than once per turn. The sphere remains fixed in place.
Titan Spell Tradition. Pyraxis. A Summoner may prepare this spell only while attuned to Pyraxis. It bears neither the Fistbound nor Manifestation tag.
Velvet Court Devotion. Threxia. Threxia’s faithful see this crucible as a temporary brand drawn on the landscape, an act of transformation rather than a claim of ownership.
Devotional Rite. After the spell ends, the caster may choose to leave a harmless star-shaped mark on an unattended surface within the area for one hour. It can be wiped away with an action and has no tracking power.
- Veiled Effects. Choose up to four willing creatures inside the sphere when you cast; they automatically succeed on the initial saving throw, but still take half damage, and may move through the sphere without difficult terrain.
- Unveiled Effects. Once during this spell when a hostile creature takes continuing damage while genuinely contesting your party, you may gain 1 Arousal. If you do, one willing creature within 30 feet of the sphere gains temporary hit points equal to twice your proficiency bonus. You cannot gain Arousal again from subsequent ticks of this spell.
