Description
Touch a willing creature that recalls a statement it spoke aloud during the previous hour. It chooses one such statement, which appears as illuminated script for the duration. The script shows the words as the creature remembers them and indicates whether it remembers knowingly omitting a material detail, but it does not reveal the detail. The spell never verifies external truth, compels speech, or accesses unwilling thoughts.
Velvet Court Devotion. Zenthira. Zenthira’s rarest private-heart rites protect unconventional fantasies and the relief of voluntary disclosure; the lantern may illuminate only what its owner offers.
Devotional Rite. Before displaying the chosen statement, the speaker may replace one word with an opaque silver flourish. Observers know a word was withheld but gain no information about it.
- Veiled Effects. The willing speaker can conceal its name from the script, though ordinary witnesses may still recognize it.
- Unveiled Effects. If the speaker volunteers a relevant omitted detail, you may gain 1 Arousal; if you do, it may reduce its Arousal by 1. Neither can benefit more than once per casting.
