Description
A circle of transparent rose-colored symbols surrounds you. When a creature within the area makes its first opportunity attack during the spell, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or forgo that opportunity attack; it still retains its reaction. A creature that succeeds is immune to this spell until it ends. The magic never prevents ordinary attacks, movement, speech, or refusing conversation. The symbols move with you.
Velvet Court Devotion. Mirellune. Mirellune’s cult of consensual power exchange calls the circle of open palms a negotiation before a command, not an enchantment that wins agreement.
Devotional Rite. When casting, willing creatures within the circle may agree on a short stop-word. Once before the spell ends, a willing creature that speaks it may use its reaction to gain advantage on its next saving throw against being charmed before the beginning of its next turn. This option may benefit only one creature per casting.
- Veiled Effects. A willing creature within the area has advantage on its next Charisma (Persuasion) check to request a temporary pause in hostilities. No creature must accept the request.
- Unveiled Effects. When an unwilling creature fails the spell’s Wisdom save during a real encounter, you may gain 1 Arousal after it forgoes the attack. If you do, one willing creature within the area may reduce its Arousal by 1. This caster gain can occur only once per casting.
