Description

A rolling pulse bursts through the ground around you. Each other creature on the ground within 20 feet makes a Strength saving throw, taking 4d8 thunder damage and falling prone on a failed save, or taking half damage and remaining standing on a success. Objects not held or worn may rattle harmlessly; the spell does not collapse buildings or tunnel through stone.

At Higher Levels. Damage increases by 1d8 for each spell slot above 3rd.

Titan Spell Tradition. Ragnarox. Only Summoners attuned to Ragnarox may prepare this spell. It has neither the Fistbound nor the Manifestation tag.

Velvet Court Devotion. Nyzun. Nyzun’s endurance liturgy reads the tremor underfoot as a test of footing and sensory discipline. Sensation is a signal, never proof that someone deserves pain.

Devotional Rite. A willing creature that would fall prone from Heartquake may choose to drop prone deliberately before its saving throw. If it does, it gains advantage on that save but remains prone afterward whether it succeeds or fails; it still takes damage as normal.

  • Veiled Effects. A willing ally you choose within the area has advantage on its saving throw and may remain standing after a failed save, though it still takes the rolled damage.
  • Unveiled Effects. When at least one hostile creature falls prone because of Heartquake, you may gain 1 Arousal after damage resolves. If you do, one willing creature that remained standing gains temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. Once per casting.

“Even the stone remembers the first heartbeat.”
