Description
Choose up to two willing creatures you can see within range. Each target may immediately repeat a saving throw against an effect causing it to be frightened, ending that effect on itself on a success. Until the spell ends, a target that ended such an effect gains temporary hit points equal to your spellcasting ability modifier + your proficiency bonus (minimum 1). Each creature can benefit from this spell’s repeat-save effect only once per casting.
At Higher Levels. When cast using a slot of 3rd level or higher, target one additional willing creature per slot above 2nd.
Velvet Court Devotion. Mirellune. Mirellune’s covenant of reassurance evokes leather, ritual restraint and freely chosen protection. A promise has no sacred force if its wearer cannot release it.
Devotional Rite. Each target may dismiss the spell’s effects on itself without using an action. Once during the duration, a target that chooses to do so immediately gains advantage on its next saving throw against being charmed before the start of its next turn. The spell never imposes submission.
- Veiled Effects. A target that succeeds on the repeat save may stand up from prone without spending movement.
- Unveiled Effects. Once per casting, when this spell ends the frightened condition on at least one willing creature other than yourself, you may gain 1 Arousal. If you do, one such target reduces its Arousal by 1. Alternatively, spend 1 Libido when casting to grant the affected creatures advantage on these repeat saving throws. Choose only one enhancement.
