Description
You and one willing creature touch a mirror. The target chooses an event it personally witnessed within the past 7 days. The mirror replays up to 30 seconds of sights and sounds from the target’s remembered perspective, including ordinary gaps and imperfections in memory. It cannot show what the target did not notice, prove the recollection is accurate, or reveal secrets the target refuses to share. The target may end the spell at any moment. Only you and the target can see the replay.
Velvet Court Devotion. Zenthira. Zenthira protects rare intimacies and deeply personal recollections; a consenting witness decides what is shared and where a memory ends.
Devotional Rite. The willing speaker may interrupt the replay at any point without an action. If it does, the spell ends and the caster learns no further detail. This cannot be prevented by the caster or used to extract another memory.
- Veiled Effects. The target may choose to omit any five seconds of the replay before it begins; you know that material was omitted but not what it contained.
- Unveiled Effects. If the replay reveals a credible clue to a current danger or investigation that you did not know, you may gain 1 Arousal after it ends. If you do, the willing target may reduce its Arousal by 1. The same recollection cannot trigger this effect again for you until you finish a long rest.
