Description
A 60-foot-radius grove of illusory midnight trees grows around a point within range. The illusory trees obscure sight, providing heavy obscurement to creatures relying on normal vision when looking through more than 10 feet of the grove. Up to eight willing creatures you choose when casting perceive the grove as translucent and can see through it normally. All creatures can pass through the trees, which are intangible and provide no cover. Truesight reveals the grove’s illusory nature. The grove remains centered at its original point.
Velvet Court Devotion. Delavira. Delavira’s watchers celebrate chosen exhibition and the lingering gaze, while her veiled sanctuaries preserve the equal right not to be seen.
Devotional Rite. Once per casting, one designated willing creature may voluntarily become a luminous silhouette visible through up to 30 feet of the illusory grove until the end of its next turn. During that turn, another designated creature concealed in the grove has advantage on its next Dexterity (Stealth) check to Hide from an observer distracted by that silhouette. Neither creature’s location is compelled to be revealed.
- Veiled Effects. A willing designated creature inside the grove may attempt to Hide while visually concealed by the trees if the normal rules for hiding otherwise permit it.
- Unveiled Effects. Once per casting, when the grove genuinely enables a willing creature to escape an active pursuer or avoid an aimed attack due to obscurement, you may gain 1 Arousal. If you do, one designated willing creature inside may reduce its Arousal by 1. Alternatively, spend 1 Libido when casting to extend duration to one hour with concentration. Choose one.
