Description
Touch a willing creature. While it remains on the same plane and within 1 mile, you know its approximate direction and whether it is conscious, provided it has not withdrawn consent to the spell. You do not learn its precise position, speed, thoughts, or surroundings. The target can end the spell at any time without an action; you immediately know the connection ended but not why.
At Higher Levels. For each slot level above 2nd, the maximum distance increases by 1 mile.
Velvet Court Devotion. Zenthira. Zenthira’s private-heart rituals bless distance, forbidden longings and the right not to be found, even by someone cherished.
Devotional Rite. The marked creature may voluntarily send a brief sense of reassurance back to the caster once during the spell, without revealing its actual location or thoughts. It may instead end the spell without giving a reason.
- Veiled Effects. If the marked creature becomes unconscious within range, you sense a distinct tug toward its direction immediately.
- Unveiled Effects. If the spell reveals that the target has fallen unconscious from a genuine hazard or hostile act, you may gain 1 Arousal when you notice it. If you do, your speed increases by 10 feet until the end of your next turn while moving toward the target. You can gain Arousal once per casting.
