Description
A circulating shell of translucent red light surrounds you. Choose up to three willing creatures inside its radius, including yourself. While a target remains inside the shell, it has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks. Whenever a protected creature takes damage from such an attack, the shell sheds a scarlet spark but has no retaliatory effect. The shell moves with you.
At Higher Levels. Add one willing creature to the initial selection per slot above 5th.
Velvet Court Devotion. Mirellune. Mirellune’s fetish armor traditions transform leather, latex and ritual harnesses into protection. The bond remains voluntary: the shelter is never a cage.
Devotional Rite. Once per casting, a willing protected creature may use its reaction and gain 1 Arousal when it would take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage from a magical attack. It gains resistance to that one instance of damage. This rite does not stack with another resistance and does not grant a lasting condition.
- Veiled Effects. The first time a protected creature takes damage from a nonmagical attack during this spell, it gains temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus after that damage resolves.
- Unveiled Effects. Once per casting, when the shell reduces damage to a willing creature other than yourself, you may gain 1 Arousal to grant that creature temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. Alternatively, spend 1 Libido on casting to extend its radius to 30 feet. Choose one enhancement.
