Description
Choose a willing creature within range. The creature gains 2d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier temporary hit points; they last until the spell ends. While it has any of these temporary hit points, it has advantage on ability checks and saving throws made to resist being shoved or knocked prone. The spell ends early if the target becomes unwilling.
At Higher Levels. Temporary hit points increase by 1d8 for each slot above 2nd.
Titan Spell Tradition. Ragnarox. Only Summoners attuned to Ragnarox may prepare this spell. It has neither the Fistbound nor the Manifestation tag.
Velvet Court Devotion. Mirellune. Mirellune’s bondage-inspired refuge is a willing armor harness: its symbolic restriction gives the wearer a moment to stand firm, and its clasp is theirs to open.
Devotional Rite. Once per casting, the willing protected creature may reduce its own speed to 0 until the end of its turn and voluntarily gain 1 Arousal. If it does, it gains 1d8 temporary hit points, subject to the ordinary nonstacking rule for temporary hit points. It cannot use this option if its speed is already 0.
- Veiled Effects. If the creature successfully resists a shove while protected, it may immediately move up to 5 feet without provoking opportunity attacks from the creature that shoved it.
- Unveiled Effects. Once per casting, when the willing target resists a forced movement effect caused by an actual foe, you may gain 1 Arousal after its saving throw. If you do, it may reduce its Arousal by 1. This spell grants no automatic Communion beyond its written effect.
