Description
Touch up to six willing creatures who remain within 10 feet throughout casting. For the duration, the chosen creatures cannot be located or observed by divination spells of 8th level or lower, and have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or having their thoughts read by magic. A caster attempting to locate or read one of them with a 9th-level divination must succeed on a spellcasting ability check against your spell save DC; on failure, that spell learns nothing about the protected creature. This ward does not confer invisibility, prevent mundane investigation, suppress voluntary speech, or alter identity. Each target may dismiss its own protection at any time.
Velvet Court Devotion. Zenthira. Zenthira’s hidden-heart rite protects uncommon fetishes, private identities and intimate truth. The ward is not a magical license to demand disclosure.
Devotional Rite. Each willing protected creature may name one person to whom it may voluntarily reveal the faint glow of its ward, without revealing its location, identity to anyone else, or any secret it has not shared. This display may be ended at will.
- Veiled Effects. A protected creature that ends its protection may leave a brief harmless sigil visible only to the other protected creatures, identifying that it chose to depart.
- Unveiled Effects. When the ward defeats a genuine hostile divination attempt, you may gain 1 Arousal if you are among its protected creatures and are conscious. If you do, a different willing protected creature may reduce its Arousal by 1. This benefit occurs once per casting and cannot be triggered by staged attempts.
