Description

An immense pulse passes through solid earth centered on you. Every other creature touching the ground within 90 feet must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, it takes 16d10 bludgeoning damage, is knocked prone, and is pushed up to 20 feet away from you into an unoccupied space on the ground. On a success, it takes half the damage, remains standing, and is not moved. A creature in the area that is not touching the ground is unaffected. You may choose up to six willing creatures you can see to automatically succeed on this saving throw. Unattended fragile structures in the radius sustain damage at the DM’s discretion; occupied buildings do not automatically collapse.

Titan Spell Tradition. Ragnarox. Only Summoners attuned to Ragnarox may prepare this spell. This spell has the Manifestation tag, but not the Fistbound tag.

Manifestation (Ragnarox). If the Arousal gained from casting this spell as a Summoner using a spell slot brings you to 6 and triggers Climax under your class’s Manifestation feature, resolve Climax normally and then Ragnarox answers. Choose up to six willing creatures standing on ground within 90 feet. Each gains temporary hit points equal to 2d8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus (minimum 1) and cannot be moved against its will until the start of your next turn. This effect occurs once per triggering casting, requires no additional action, and ends at the end of the current turn except for temporary hit points, which last one minute. Ragnarox is not a separate creature.

Velvet Court Devotion. Nyzun. Nyzun’s endurance cult regards the ninth earthquake as a trial of voluntary limits, not a demand for suffering. Ragnarox remains the spell’s Titan tradition and Manifestation source.

Devotional Rite. A willing creature chosen to automatically succeed on the spell’s saving throw may instead elect to roll the save and voluntarily gain 1 Arousal before rolling. If it succeeds, it may immediately move up to 10 feet after the pulse without provoking opportunity attacks from creatures that failed the spell’s save. On failure, it takes the spell’s normal failed-save consequences. This is a voluntary choice, not a requirement of the Titan.

  • Veiled Effects. A willing creature chosen to succeed may use its reaction to move up to 10 feet immediately after the pulse without provoking opportunity attacks from creatures that failed the saving throw.
  • Unveiled Effects. If the pulse knocks at least one genuinely hostile creature prone, you may gain 1 Arousal after resolving damage. If you do, one willing creature that remained standing gains temporary hit points equal to twice your proficiency bonus. Once per casting; this caster gain obeys the shared Arousal limit.
