Description
A pillar of molten-red marrow erupts in a cylinder 15 feet in radius and 40 feet high centered on a point within range. Creatures in the cylinder make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 10d6 fire and 4d6 bludgeoning damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. The ground in the cylinder becomes difficult terrain until the start of your next turn. Unattended flammable objects ignite. The spell does not create permanent magma.
At Higher Levels. Increase fire damage by 1d6 per slot above 6th.
Titan Spell Tradition. Pyraxis. A Summoner may prepare this spell only while attuned to Pyraxis. It has neither the Fistbound nor Manifestation tag.
Velvet Court Devotion. Threxia. Threxia’s living-script adepts celebrate consensual marking and metamorphosis; the spell’s fiery pillar is a dramatic signature, not a claim on anyone’s body.
Devotional Rite. Once per casting, a willing creature in the spell’s area may voluntarily gain 1 Arousal after resolving its saving throw. If it does, it gains temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus and may wear a harmless ember-shaped sigil until the end of its next turn. The sigil can be dismissed freely and causes no injury.
- Veiled Effects. Choose up to two willing creatures within the area. Each has advantage on the initial Dexterity saving throw and does not fall prone from this spell’s terrain.
- Unveiled Effects. When at least one hostile creature fails the initial save, you may gain 1 Arousal after damage resolves. If you do, choose one failed-save target; its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of your next turn. Only once per casting.
