Description

An illusory twin overlaps your movements. Once during the spell, immediately after a creature you can see misses you with a melee attack, you may use your reaction to teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 15 feet. The illusion remains where you stood until the end of your next turn but cannot provide cover or make attacks. After the teleport, the spell ends at the end of your next turn.

Velvet Court Devotion. Velzhari. Velzhari’s mirror-bride dancers relish a final theatrical flourish before vanishing, blending pride and playful exhibition into a chosen escape.

Devotional Rite. Once per casting, you may choose to make your departure shimmer with obvious silver light visible for 60 feet. If you do, the attacker has advantage on its next Wisdom (Perception) check to find you before the end of its next turn, and you may increase the teleport distance by 5 feet for that casting. The illumination cannot pierce total cover.

  • Veiled Effects. The image can mimic your last spoken words once when you teleport, but it cannot create new statements or sounds you have not made.
  • Unveiled Effects. When you teleport away from a hostile attacker using this spell, you may gain 1 Arousal after the teleport. If you do, your next Dexterity (Stealth) check before the end of your next turn has advantage. Alternatively, spend 1 Libido when casting to increase the teleport distance to 25 feet. Only one enhancement applies.

“A mirror knows where you were, not where you chose to go.”
