Description
Conjure a 5-foot-wide bridge of translucent braided light connecting two solid surfaces you can see, up to 60 feet apart, wholly within range. The bridge supports up to ten Medium creatures and their gear; crossing it requires normal movement. A creature may use an action to dispel a five-foot section with a successful spellcasting ability check against your spell save DC if it can touch the bridge; the bridge has AC 15 and 30 hit points and is immune to poison and psychic damage. When the spell ends, all creatures on it fall normally.
At Higher Levels. The maximum span increases by 20 feet for each slot above 3rd.
Velvet Court Devotion. Mirellune. Mirellune’s devoted-binding practices treat every bridge as a freely negotiated passage. Its symbolic keys remind visitors that trust includes a way back.
Devotional Rite. When you cast, designate one willing creature who knows a private release phrase. Once during the spell, that creature may use its reaction while standing on the bridge to speak the phrase, giving itself advantage on its next saving throw against being shoved or knocked prone before the end of its next turn. The phrase creates no authority over any other traveler.
- Veiled Effects. Willing creatures crossing the bridge have advantage on ability checks to keep balance against ordinary wind and jostling.
- Unveiled Effects. When your bridge carries at least two willing creatures safely across an actual gap or hazard, you may gain 1 Arousal. If you do, one of those creatures may reduce its Arousal by 1. Once per casting; staging repeated crossings of a harmless gap provides no benefit.
