Erosia remembers more than historians can prove.
Beside hearths, beneath temple arches and along roads traveled only by moonlight, the peoples of Erosia tell stories older than surviving records. Some preserve forgotten history. Some explain places no scholar understands. Some warn against promises carelessly made.
Others may simply be stories. In Erosia, that distinction is not always comforting.
Stories That Refuse to Die
Myths and legends gather the realm’s regional folklore, unexplained apparitions, inherited superstitions, divine cautionary tales and accounts that survive without proof. These stories are presented as the people of Erosia tell them. Their truth is often disputed, incomplete or impossible to verify.
That uncertainty is part of the tradition. A legend can shape a village, a pilgrimage or a promise whether every detail happened exactly as remembered.

The White Bride of Stillwater
On certain nights beneath Erosia’s three moons, a bride in white glides across Stillwater, waiting for someone who promised they would come. Around the lake, her story still shapes a candle tradition practiced by lovers before marriage.
