Revel of Entwined Hearts

Lore Overview

“A chorus is not many voices becoming one. It is many voices discovering they were never alone.”

The Revel of Entwined Hearts teaches that emotion becomes more powerful when it is willingly shared. These Revelers weave companions into networks of Resonance, allowing courage, pleasure, vulnerability and determination to move between them.

They do not erase individuality. They strengthen it through connection. An Entwined Hearts Reveler turns the party itself into an instrument, transforming mutual trust and emotional openness into protection, recovery and extraordinary moments of shared release.

Resonant Link

3rd-Level Subclass Feature

Every heart keeps its own rhythm; trust lets the rhythms answer.

As a Bonus Action, choose up to two willing creatures you can see within 30 feet. You and those creatures are Linked for 10 minutes. Creating a new Link ends the previous one. A participant may leave without an action; its Link also ends if you become Incapacitated or it ends its turn more than 60 feet from you. You can create a Link a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per Long Rest.

Once per round, when a Linked creature benefits from your Resonance Technique, choose another Linked creature within 60 feet. It gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

Veiled Play. The second creature may also gain or reduce its Arousal by 1. This is a numerical adjustment to its existing total.

Unveiled Play. After the baseline temporary hit points are granted, the original Technique recipient may transfer 1 existing Arousal to the second willing Linked creature within 60 feet, with both creatures’ agreement and within the recipient’s gain limit. Resolve Climax immediately at 6.

Shared Resonance

3rd-Level Subclass Feature

Release is an answering note, never a debt.

When you expend a Resonance Die to benefit a Linked creature, choose another Linked creature within 60 feet. It may add half the result, rounded up, to one attack roll, ability check, or saving throw before the start of your next turn. A creature can hold only one such bonus. If both creatures succeed on rolls modified by that die, regain the expended die, at most once per round.

Once per Long Rest, when a Linked creature within 60 feet other than you Climaxes, you may use your Reaction after its Climax resolves to choose a different willing Linked creature within 60 feet. That creature restores 1 Libido. This restoration does not change the triggering creature’s Climax cost.

Veiled Play. When you use that Reaction, the chosen creature may also reduce its Arousal by 1.

Unveiled Play. When using the Climax reaction, the chosen creature may transfer 1 existing Arousal to another consenting Linked creature within 60 feet, within the recipient’s gain limit. This grants no additional Arousal reduction. The triggering creature’s reset remains in effect unless a subsequent effect actually increases it.

Rite of the Shared Hearth

3rd-Level Subclass Feature

A hope freely offered is enough; silence belongs beside it.

You may lead a 10-minute ritual with willing companions. No confession is required. Choose up to your Proficiency Bonus participants. Each gains Advantage on one Insight or Persuasion check made to support another participant within the next hour. Each participant can benefit from this rite once per Long Rest.

Veiled Play. Each chosen participant may reduce its Arousal by 1.

Unveiled Play. A chosen participant may transfer 1 existing Arousal to another consenting chosen participant, within the recipient’s gain limit. Each may give or receive only one transfer during the rite. Resolve Climax immediately at 6. This grants no additional Arousal reduction.

Harmonic Redistribution

6th-Level Subclass Feature

A companion may take your hand without taking your burden away.

When a Linked creature within 60 feet would gain Arousal, you may use your Reaction to transfer exactly 1 point of that gain to a different willing Linked creature within 60 feet. The original creature gains 1 less Arousal; the recipient gains 1. Apply all remaining gain normally. Alternatively, when a Linked creature within 60 feet fails a saving throw, you may use your Reaction and expend one Resonance Die to add it to that save, potentially changing the outcome. Choose only one use per Reaction.

You may use Harmonic Redistribution a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per Long Rest.

Veiled Play. If pressure is transferred, the recipient gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

Unveiled Play. When using the baseline saving-throw reaction on an EROSave, you may spend 1 Libido to let its recipient reduce existing Arousal by 1 after the save’s consequences resolve. This grants no temporary hit points for pressure transfers and cannot reverse Climax.

Unbroken Chorus

10th-Level Subclass Feature

The chorus bends around a trembling voice.

Your Link may now include you and up to your Charisma modifier willing companions (minimum two companions). While your Crescendo is active, Linked creatures within 60 feet have Advantage on saving throws against Charmed or Frightened.

Once per round during your Crescendo, when a Linked creature succeeds on an EROSave, another willing Linked creature within 60 feet may move up to 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks.

Veiled Play. The creature moved may also reduce its Arousal by 1.

Unveiled Play. The moving creature may transfer 1 existing Arousal to you if you both agree and you can gain it within the normal per-turn limit. Resolve Climax immediately at 6. This grants no additional reduction.

Perfect Synchrony

14th-Level Subclass Feature

At the summit, every voice is heard.

When you trigger Grand Crescendo, all willing Linked creatures within 60 feet may receive its chosen effect, exceeding its normal target count. Each may also either regain Hit Points equal to your Proficiency Bonus + your Charisma modifier (minimum 1), or move up to half its Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.

Veiled Play. Each affected creature may then gain or reduce its Arousal by 1.

Unveiled Play. Once per long rest, one willing affected creature may regain 1 Libido up to its maximum. This shares Shared Resonance’s once-per-long-rest restoration; using either expends both. It grants no Arousal adjustment.

Desire Identity

Entwined Hearts turns trust into a shared circuit: one companion accepts pressure, another finds relief, and a moment of release renews the bond. Its combat role is support and protection; its social role is voluntary confidence and mutual understanding. Libido is preserved through redistribution and restored through a bounded response to a companion’s Climax. No participant owes disclosure or intimacy to make the bond work.

Limits and agency. The normal limit of 3 Arousal gained during one turn applies; no feature here bypasses it. Resolve each Climax completely before any subsequent Arousal change. A feature cannot trigger itself directly or through another copy of the same feature. One event can restore no more than one Resonance Die through this subclass, in addition to restoration expressly granted by the Reveler class. Restoring dice never exceeds your class maximum. All allied Arousal changes, transfers, movement, and bonds require the affected creature’s agreement. These mechanics never determine attraction, consent, or permanent feelings. An EROSave uses the target’s choice of Constitution or Wisdom, including normal saving throw proficiency, against 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Charisma modifier unless a feature specifies otherwise.

Classic Play. Use the shared feature text. Ignore Arousal and Libido instructions, and use Wisdom saves in place of EROSaves. Once per Long Rest, entering Crescendo may trigger your Grand Crescendo and its subclass improvements without requiring Climax. Desire remains the defining loop in Veiled and Unveiled Play; Classic Play is its separate adaptation.

Play Modes and Desire Resolution

Classic Play. Use the baseline feature and any expressly stated Classic alternative, without Arousal or Libido. A feature that only modifies Desire has no additional Classic effect.

Veiled Play. Use the baseline and the feature’s Veiled paragraph. Add each stated Arousal gain to the creature’s current total; never assign Composed, Stirred, or Overwhelmed or replace its existing pressure. Resolve Climax immediately at 6. Do not use the Unveiled paragraph.

Unveiled Play. Use the baseline and the feature’s Unveiled paragraph, together with the website’s full Arousal, Libido, Climax, and Depletion rules. Do not inherit the Veiled paragraph. A Libido expenditure requires enough Libido to pay it. Spending the final point does not disable benefits without a Libido cost.

Each feature retains its stated actions, targets, duration, resource costs, and recharge. Changing play modes restores no uses. A gain-dependent benefit requires the Arousal actually to be gained. Unless explicitly excepted, a creature gains at most 3 Arousal per turn; reductions cannot go below 0. Resolve Climax before continuing a feature or applying any after-Climax benefit: the applicable Climax Effect, 1 Libido loss where tracked, Arousal reset to 0, then applicable aftermath triggers. Healing and Exhaustion occur only when an applicable rule grants or imposes them. An EROSave is the creature’s choice of Constitution or Wisdom saving throw, including proficiency only if proficient in that save. Basic Desire Actions retain their one-per-round limit unless an explicit feature overrides it.

Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, this subclass’s EROSave DC is 8 + PB + your Charisma modifier. PB means proficiency bonus.
