“Every heart carries a rhythm. A Reveler teaches the world to move with it.”
The Reveler
Some warriors command through steel. Some priests command through faith. Revelers command through emotion.
Wherever people gather, stories emerge. Fear spreads through ranks. Hope rises around campfires. Desire stirs in crowded halls. A Reveler understands these currents better than most understand the wind. They do not simply observe emotion. They shape it.
A skilled Reveler can transform a frightened militia into a disciplined force, turn rivals into companions, or guide an entire community through grief, celebration, or sacred ritual. Their art is more than performance. It is the ability to awaken something already present within the hearts of others and bring it to life.
In Erosia, Revelers occupy a unique place within society. They are performers, diplomats, ritual leaders, confidants, courtesans, storytellers, festival organizers, and battlefield conductors. Their influence often extends far beyond the stage. A gifted Reveler can change the course of a kingdom with a speech as easily as a swordmaster can change the course of a battle with a blade.
Creating a Reveler
When creating a Reveler, consider what emotions your character most easily evokes in others. Do they inspire courage through grand speeches? Do they create intimacy through music and storytelling? Do they challenge others to become their best selves? Or do they simply understand how to turn every moment into a shared experience?
Also consider how your Reveler first learned to listen to the emotional rhythms of the world. Were they trained by temple performers? Raised among traveling festivals? Taught by a legendary mentor? Or did they discover their gift through experience and instinct?

The Rhythm of Desire

Most classes harness strength, magic, or divine favor. Revelers harness emotional momentum.
As feelings intensify around them, Revelers gather that energy and transform it into a resource known as Resonance. Rising Arousal, successful EROS Saves, failed EROS Saves, moments of confession, emotional breakthroughs, and even Climax itself can all generate Resonance.
A skilled Reveler learns to shape these moments rather than merely witness them. Every shift in emotion becomes another note in a larger performance.
The more emotional energy a Reveler gathers, the closer they move toward a state known as Crescendo. During a Crescendo, a Reveler’s influence expands dramatically, allowing them to guide allies, manipulate emotional pressure, and transform moments of release into opportunities for the entire group.
Masters of Shared Emotion
Unlike many classes, Revelers rarely focus solely on themselves. Their greatest strength lies in their ability to elevate others. When a Bloodborn reaches release, raw magical power erupts outward. When a Wildheart reaches release, primal instincts surge to the surface. When a Reveler reaches release, the experience becomes shared.
The Reveler’s Climax is known as a Grand Crescendo. Through practiced control and emotional mastery, the Reveler transforms personal release into inspiration, coordination, healing, and emotional renewal for those around them.
A Reveler who understands the rhythm of Desire can turn even the most difficult moment into the beginning of something greater.
Resonance

Every creature carries emotions within them. Hope, fear, anticipation, longing, devotion, joy, grief, and desire create invisible currents that flow through every gathering, battlefield, ritual, and celebration. Most creatures experience these currents without recognizing them. Revelers learn to listen.
The emotional energy created when people struggle, connect, resist temptation, surrender to it, or experience release leaves behind a lingering echo known as Resonance. Skilled Revelers gather this energy and transform it into inspiration, coordination, emotional influence, and supernatural performance.
As a Reveler, Resonance is your primary class resource. Many of your class features generate Resonance when emotional events occur around you. Other features allow you to spend Resonance to influence allies, manipulate Desire, and fuel your most powerful performances.
The amount of Resonance you can hold and the strength of your Resonance Dice increase as you gain levels in this class.
Emotional Resonance
1st-Level Reveler Feature
You have learned to gather emotional momentum and transform it into power. You possess a number of Resonance Dice as shown on the Reveler table. Your Resonance Dice are expended when used. You regain all expended Resonance Dice when you finish a Long Rest.
Beginning at 5th level, you regain all expended Resonance Dice when you finish a Short or Long Rest.
Emotional Replenishment
The shifting emotions of those around you continually replenish your power. Once per round, when a creature within 60 feet of you experiences one of the following events, you may regain one expended Resonance Die:
- The creature gains Arousal.
- The creature loses Arousal.
- The creature succeeds on an EROS Save.
- The creature fails an EROS Save.
- The creature Climaxes.
You cannot exceed your maximum number of Resonance Dice.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). When a creature within 60 feet gains or loses Arousal, succeeds on an EROS Save, fails an EROS Save, or Climaxes, you may regain one expended Resonance Die. You may do so only once per round.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). When a creature within 60 feet gains or loses 2 or more Arousal from a single effect, you gain advantage on the next Resonance Die you spend before the end of your next turn.
When a creature within 60 feet Climaxes, you may immediately regain one expended Resonance Die, even if you have already regained a Resonance Die this round. This benefit may occur only once per round.
Resonance Techniques
1st-Level Reveler Feature
You have mastered specialized performances known as Resonance Techniques. Each Technique represents a different method of shaping emotional momentum. Some inspire allies. Others coordinate movement, manipulate Desire, or alter the flow of a scene.
Unless otherwise stated, using a Resonance Technique requires a Bonus Action, expends one Resonance Die, and targets a creature you can see within 60 feet. If a Resonance Technique calls for a saving throw, the save DC equals your Reveler Spell Save DC. You learn three Resonance Techniques of your choice at 1st level. You learn additional Resonance Techniques as shown on the Reveler table.
Whenever you gain a level in this class, you may replace one Resonance Technique you know with another Resonance Technique for which you qualify.
Encourage
You offer a word, gesture, note, or expression that reminds another creature of its own strength. Choose one creature within range and roll your Resonance Die. The target gains a bonus equal to the result rolled on the next attack roll, ability check, saving throw, or EROS Save it makes before the start of your next turn.
A creature may benefit from only one Encourage effect at a time.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). If the creature uses the bonus on an EROS Save, it gains Advantage on the save instead of adding the die.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). If the creature succeeds on an EROS Save using this bonus, it may reduce its Arousal by 1.
Rally
You transform uncertainty into action. Choose one creature within range and roll your Resonance Die. The target gains Temporary Hit Points equal to the result rolled plus your Charisma modifier.
If the target is Charmed, Frightened, or suffering from an effect that imposes disadvantage on EROS Saves, it may immediately repeat one saving throw against that effect.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). The target gains Advantage on its next EROS Save before the end of its next turn.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). If the target succeeds on the repeated save, it may restore 1 Libido. A creature may benefit from this restoration only once per Long Rest.
Direct the Dance
You guide another creature toward opportunity through flawless timing. Choose one willing creature within range and roll your Resonance Die. The target may immediately move a number of feet equal to 5 × the number rolled without provoking opportunity attacks.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). The target gains Advantage on the next Dexterity ability check or Dexterity saving throw it makes before the start of your next turn.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). If the target moves adjacent to a hostile creature, that creature gains 1 Arousal. A creature can gain Arousal from this Technique only once per turn.
Shared Step
Your rhythm spreads across the battlefield. Choose two willing creatures within 60 feet of each other and roll your Resonance Die. Each creature may immediately move up to a number of feet equal to 5 × half the number rolled on the die, minimum 5 feet. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks. If both creatures end their movement closer together than when they began, each gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). If both creatures end their movement adjacent to one another, each gains Advantage on its next EROS Save before the start of your next turn.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). If either creature Climaxes before the start of your next turn, the other creature may either gain 1 Arousal or reduce its Arousal by 1. The affected creature chooses the outcome.
Stir the Heart
You intensify the emotional currents flowing through another creature. Choose one creature within range. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be affected by this Technique.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). On a failed save, the target gains 1 Arousal. On a successful save, nothing happens.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). On a failed save, the target gains Arousal equal to half the result rolled on your Resonance Die, minimum 1. If this causes the target to Climax, you immediately regain the Resonance Die spent to activate this Technique.
Calm the Heart
You soothe rising pressure and help another creature regain control. Choose one creature within range.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). The target reduces its Arousal by 1. If the target must make an EROS Save before the start of your next turn, it gains Advantage on that save.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). Roll your Resonance Die. The target reduces its Arousal by an amount equal to half the result rolled, minimum 1. If this prevents a Climax that would otherwise occur before the start of your next turn, the target gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier and you regain one expended Resonance Die.
Shared Inspiration
1st-Level Reveler Climax Feature
Beginning at 1st level, your Climax creates a brief surge of emotional resonance that strengthens those around you. Whenever you Climax, choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet. The chosen creature gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Reveler level + your Charisma modifier. In addition, the creature gains Advantage on the next attack roll, ability check, saving throw, or EROS Save it makes within the next minute.
This benefit represents the first expression of a Reveler’s gift: transforming personal release into encouragement and emotional reinforcement.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). The chosen creature gains Advantage on its next attack roll, ability check, saving throw, or EROS Save made within 1 minute.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). The chosen creature may either gain 1 Arousal or reduce its Arousal by 1. The creature chooses the outcome.
Crescendo
2nd-Level Reveler Feature
A Crescendo is the pinnacle of performance, a state of heightened emotional synchronization in which your influence over the emotional currents around you reaches its peak. While in Crescendo, your performances become more powerful, your presence becomes more difficult to ignore, and your connection to Resonance deepens.
Entering Crescendo
As a Bonus Action, you may expend 2 Resonance Dice to enter Crescendo. Crescendo lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you become Incapacitated. You may voluntarily end Crescendo at any time without using an action. You may enter Crescendo a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, minimum once, and regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Crescendo Benefits
While in Crescendo:
- You gain Advantage on Performance and Persuasion checks.
- When you spend a Resonance Die, roll the die twice and use either result.
- The first time each round a creature within 60 feet of you gains Arousal, loses Arousal, succeeds on an EROS Save, fails an EROS Save, or Climaxes, you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). While in Crescendo, the first ally each round who receives one of your Resonance Dice gains Advantage on the next attack roll, ability check, saving throw, or EROS Save it makes before the end of its next turn.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). While in Crescendo, whenever a creature within 60 feet of you Climaxes, choose one of the following effects:
- Restore 1 Libido to a creature within 60 feet.
- Increase a creature’s Arousal by 1.
- Reduce a creature’s Arousal by 1.
- Allow a willing creature to move up to 15 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
You may use this benefit once per round.
Reveler Expressions
3rd-Level Reveler Feature
Every Reveler develops a unique philosophy regarding emotion, performance, and Desire. This philosophy shapes how they gather Resonance, influence others, and transform release into power. Choose one of the following Reveler Expressions:
- College of a Thousand Hearts
- Crimson Chorus
- Masquerade Revel
- Revel of Wild Heat
Your chosen Expression grants features at 3rd level and again at higher levels as shown in the subclass description.
Ability Score Improvement
4th-Level Reveler Feature
When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you cannot increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. Alternatively, if your table uses feats, you may choose a feat for which you qualify instead of increasing your ability scores.
Font of Resonance
5th-Level Reveler Feature
As your mastery of emotional momentum deepens, Resonance becomes easier to recover and more potent when spent. You regain all expended Resonance Dice whenever you finish a Short or Long Rest. In addition, whenever you roll Initiative and have no remaining Resonance Dice, you immediately regain one Resonance Die.
Your Resonance Die becomes a d8 at 5th level.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). The first time each encounter that a creature within 60 feet gains or loses Arousal, succeeds on an EROS Save, fails an EROS Save, or Climaxes, you regain one expended Resonance Die.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). Whenever a creature within 60 feet Climaxes, you may choose one creature within 60 feet. That creature gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier. You may use this benefit once per round.
Echoing Release
5th-Level Reveler Climax Feature
Your emotional release naturally spreads through those around you. Whenever you trigger Shared Inspiration, choose a second creature within 60 feet. Both creatures gain the benefits of Shared Inspiration. In addition, you immediately regain one expended Resonance Die.
The Reveler is no longer merely inspiring others. Their release begins creating chains of emotional momentum that ripple outward through companions, celebrations, rituals, and battlefields alike.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). Both affected creatures gain Advantage on their next attack roll, ability check, saving throw, or EROS Save.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). Each affected creature may choose one of the following:
- Gain 1 Arousal.
- Reduce Arousal by 1.
In addition, one affected creature of your choice restores 1 Libido. A creature can restore Libido through this feature only once per Long Rest.
Reveler Expression Feature
6th-Level Reveler Feature
Your chosen Reveler Expression grants an additional feature at 6th level.
Shared Rhythm
7th-Level Reveler Feature
Your influence begins to spread beyond individual creatures. Whenever you target a creature with a Resonance Technique, you may choose a second creature within 30 feet of the original target. The second creature gains one of the following benefits:
- Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier.
- Advantage on its next EROS Save before the start of your next turn.
- Advantage on the next ability check it makes before the start of your next turn.
A creature may benefit from Shared Rhythm only once per round.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). The second creature gains Advantage on its next attack roll, ability check, saving throw, or EROS Save before the start of your next turn.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play) The second creature may instead gain or reduce its Arousal by 1. The affected creature chooses the outcome.
Ability Score Improvement
8th-Level Reveler Feature
When you reach 8th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you cannot increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. Alternatively, if your table uses feats, you may choose a feat for which you qualify instead of increasing your ability scores.
Ritual Conductor
9th-Level Reveler Feature
You have become a recognized master of emotional synchronization and ceremonial performance. Whenever you participate in a ritual, you may use Performance or Persuasion in place of Arcana, Religion, or Medicine for any ritual-related check made as part of that ritual. You must still be proficient in the skill used.
At the conclusion of a ritual lasting at least 10 minutes, choose a number of willing participants equal to your Charisma modifier, minimum one. Each chosen creature gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Reveler level.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). Each chosen participant may either gain Advantage on its next EROS Save or reduce its Arousal by 1.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). Each chosen participant may choose one of the following:
- Restore 1 Libido.

- Gain Advantage on the next EROS Save made before finishing a Long Rest.
A creature may restore Libido through this feature only once per Long Rest.
Improved Crescendo
10th-Level Reveler Feature

In addition, whenever you regain a Resonance Die through Emotional Replenishment, you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). While in Crescendo, allies benefiting from your Resonance Techniques gain Advantage on the first EROS Save they make before the start of your next turn.

Your Climax becomes a defining performance capable of transforming the emotional state of an entire encounter.
Whenever you Climax, choose a number of creatures within 60 feet equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum one). Choose one of the following Crescendo effects. Every chosen creature receives the selected benefit.
Crescendo of Inspiration: Each affected creature gains Temporary Hit Points equal to twice your Reveler level.

Crescendo of Unity: Each affected creature immediately ends either the Charmed or Frightened condition affecting it.
Crescendo of Release: Each affected creature may either gain 1 Arousal or reduce its Arousal by 1. Each creature chooses independently. The emotional energy released through a Grand Crescendo is impossible to ignore. Even in the midst of battle, companions find themselves moving with greater confidence, certainty, and connection.
Quickstart (Veiled Play). All affected creatures gain Advantage on their next attack roll, ability check, saving throw, or EROS Save.
Advanced Mechanics (Unveiled Play). Choose one additional benefit:

Alternatively, if your table uses feats, you may choose a feat for which you qualify instead of increasing your ability scores.
Perfect Timing
13th-Level Reveler Feature
You have learned to anticipate moments of emotional release before they occur. Whenever a creature within 60 feet makes an EROS Save, you may use your Reaction to expend one Resonance Die and roll it. Add the result to the creature’s saving throw after the roll is made but before the outcome is determined. If the save succeeds, you immediately regain the expended Resonance Die.

Resonant Renewal. Each affected creature regains Hit Points equal to your Reveler level.

Perfect Synchronization. Each affected creature may immediately use its Reaction, even if it has already used its Reaction this round.
