Aeros
The Unbound Sky
Primordial Titan of Wind, Storm, Freedom, Judgment, and the Endless Heavens
Who is Aeros
Before birds first took wing, before clouds gathered above the newborn world, and before mortals gave names to wind, thunder, or the open sky, there was Aeros.
Aeros is not merely a creature of storms. She is the primordial breath of creation itself, the endless sky that stretches beyond every horizon and the invisible current that carries life across the world. Every gentle breeze, roaring hurricane, thunderous tempest, and bolt of lightning traces its origin to the eternal skies watched over by Aeros since the dawn of creation.
To stand before Aeros is to witness limitless motion. Her colossal thunderbird form is woven from living storm clouds, brilliant lightning, rushing winds, and radiant feathers that shimmer like the changing sky. Vast wings span the heavens with effortless grace, each beat sending rolling thunder across the horizon while cyclones gather beneath her soaring flight. She is both serenity and fury existing within the same boundless sky.
Aeros teaches that freedom is the foundation of all life. The wind cannot be chained. The storm cannot be imprisoned. Rivers flow because rain falls. Seeds spread because the breeze carries them. Even mountains are slowly shaped by the patient touch of the open air. Stagnation is the enemy of growth, while movement allows the world to renew itself endlessly.
Unlike mortal storms, Aeros’s fury is never reckless. Every gale serves a purpose. Lightning clears dying forests so new life may flourish. Rain nourishes fields after seasons of drought. Tempests humble those who mistake dominion for permanence. What appears as destruction is often the world’s preparation for renewal.
To Summoners, Aeros is guide, liberator, and relentless teacher. She grants no comfort to those who cling to certainty or fear change. Instead, she calls her chosen to trust the unseen currents that carry them forward. Those who seek to command the wind grasp only empty air. Those who surrender themselves to its rhythm discover that true freedom is found not in resisting change, but in learning to soar upon it.
Titan Bond

A Summoner who forges a bond with Aeros becomes a living conduit for the ever-changing skies, carrying the freedom of the open heavens wherever they travel.
As Sublimation grows, the Summoner begins to perceive the world as Aeros does. Every obstacle becomes another current to ride rather than a wall to overcome. Distance loses its meaning. Opportunity arrives on shifting winds. Every spell cast strengthens the invisible connection between Titan and Titan-Touched, allowing another breath of Aeros’s primordial sky to flow through the mortal world.
The bond reveals itself through subtle physical changes long before a true Manifestation occurs. Hair and clothing move gently even in perfect stillness, stirred by winds that no one else can feel. Their eyes occasionally flash with brilliant white or pale blue lightning during moments of strong emotion, while tiny feathers of condensed cloud dissolve into mist whenever they laugh, run, or leap from great heights. The scent of fresh rain often lingers wherever they pass.
During moments of intense Sublimation, the Summoner hears distant thunder rolling beyond the Veil, accompanied by the unmistakable cry of an immense bird soaring somewhere beyond mortal sight. Storm clouds seem strangely welcoming rather than threatening, and the sky itself feels alive with quiet anticipation.
Aeros asks for neither worship nor obedience. She asks only that her chosen never surrender their spirit to fear, oppression, or despair. Every act that grants freedom, inspires hope, or breaks unjust bonds strengthens the connection, while needless domination and complacency cause the winds to fall silent. Those who remain true discover that Aeros is not merely lending them the strength of the storm. She is teaching them how to become as limitless as the sky itself.
Manifestation
As the Summoner’s Sublimation reaches its peak, the atmosphere itself begins to change. The air grows charged with static as distant thunder echoes across clear skies. Gentle breezes become circling currents, clouds gather from impossible distances, and loose feathers, leaves, and dust spiral upward in silent anticipation. A brilliant flash of lightning tears across the heavens before the mighty cry of Aeros resounds through both sky and soul.
An Aeros Manifestation is not summoned through command or force. It is an act of harmony between the Primordial Titan and the Titan-Touched who has learned to move with the world’s ever-changing currents. Aeros answers only those who have embraced freedom without abandoning responsibility, allowing a fragment of her eternal storm to descend into the mortal world.
Each milestone of the Summoner class deepens this communion. Early Manifestations reveal only a fleeting glimpse of Aeros’s impossible majesty, while later Manifestations allow increasingly greater portions of her primordial presence to fill the battlefield. Her true form never fully descends, for no mortal sky could contain the boundless heavens from which she was born. Instead, every appearance is a measured answer to a bond strengthened through courage, adaptability, and unwavering resolve.
While Manifested, Aeros transforms the battlefield into an extension of the living sky. Winds answer instinctively to her presence, thunder rolls with every beat of her colossal wings, and lightning leaps eagerly between cloud and earth. Enemies find themselves unable to stand against the relentless momentum of the storm, while allies move with impossible speed and confidence beneath her watchful gaze. When the Manifestation concludes, the clouds slowly part, the winds grow calm, and the scent of fresh rain lingers upon the air, leaving every witness with the unmistakable feeling that the heavens themselves had briefly descended to walk among mortals.
Climax
If Aeros is currently Manifested, this spell is enhanced based on your Manifestation level.
1st Level — Favor of the Open Sky. Choose one creature affected by this spell. Until the start of your next turn, its walking speed increases by 10 feet, and it ignores nonmagical difficult terrain.
5th Level — Storm’s Momentum. The spell’s movement, forced movement, push, pull, or flight effects increase by 10 feet. If the spell has no movement component, choose one creature affected by the spell. It cannot take reactions until the start of your next turn as roaring winds disrupt its footing.
10th Level — Thunderbird’s Judgment. Once during this spell’s resolution, choose one creature damaged or affected by the spell. It takes additional lightning or thunder damage (your choice) equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1), and it can’t benefit from opportunity attacks until the start of your next turn.
15th Level — Tempest Unbound. Hostile creatures affected by this spell cannot benefit from resistance to lightning or thunder damage until the spell finishes resolving. If the spell deals neither damage type, one affected creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be knocked prone.
20th Level — Sovereign of the Endless Sky. Once per casting of this spell, choose one of the following benefits:
- Maximize one lightning or thunder damage die rolled by the spell.
- Immediately teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet after the spell resolves.
- Cause one willing creature affected by the spell to immediately move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
The skies themselves answer your call, carrying the freedom and unstoppable momentum of the Primordial Thunderbird.
