Player Classes

Paths of Power Within Erosia

Power in Erosia is never without meaning.

Some draw strength from devotion. Others from instinct, memory, hunger, discipline, or desire itself. Whether forged through sacred oath, awakened blood, ancient pact, or the pulse of the living world, every class within Erosia reflects not only what a hero can do—but who they choose to become.

A Note on Compatibility

Class Equivalency & Compatibility Guide

Whispers of Erosia is designed to be fully compatible with Fifth Edition fantasy roleplaying. While Erosia introduces its own class names, themes, and setting-specific identities, most classes are built upon familiar 5e foundations. This approach allows players and Masters of the Veil to bring existing character concepts into Erosia with minimal adjustment while still embracing the unique cultures, philosophies, and mythology of the setting.

In most cases, an Erosian class uses the same mechanical chassis as its Fifth Edition counterpart, reimagined through the lens of Erosian lore and worldbuilding. In addition, Erosia introduces a small number of entirely original classes designed specifically for the setting.

Original Erosia Classes

While most Erosian classes are built upon familiar Fifth Edition foundations, two classes were created specifically for the world of Erosia and have no direct equivalent in standard 5e.

Invoker

Invokers call upon the echoes of history itself. Through ritual, devotion, memory, and spiritual resonance, they briefly summon legendary figures from the past to aid them in moments of need. Saints, conquerors, lovers, heroes, queens, martyrs, tyrants, and forgotten champions answer their call, lending their power for a fleeting moment before returning to legend.

Rather than commanding creatures, Invokers channel the legacy of those who came before, drawing strength from the stories that shaped the world.

Summoner

Summoners forge bonds with the primal forces that exist beyond mortal civilization. They call forth elemental titans, ancient spirits, primordial beasts, living manifestations of nature, and echoes of creation itself.

Unlike traditional pet classes, Summoners are defined by their relationship with the forces they command. Their companions are not mere servants, but powerful entities whose presence can reshape the battlefield and alter the course of an adventure.

A Familiar Foundation, An Erosian Identity

The goal of Whispers of Erosia is not to replace Fifth Edition, but to build upon it. Players familiar with traditional 5e classes should feel immediately at home within Erosia, while discovering new interpretations of familiar archetypes and entirely new paths unique to the setting.

Whether you walk the world as a Wildheart warrior, a Sigilwright scholar, a Reveler of the Velvet Court, or an Invoker calling upon the legends of ages past, every class is designed to feel both mechanically familiar and unmistakably Erosian.

Choose your path carefully.
Power leaves its mark upon all who wield it.
