Description
You create an aura of steadying breath. Choose up to three willing creatures in the radius when you cast the spell, including yourself. While a chosen creature remains within 10 feet of you, it has advantage on Constitution saving throws made to resist environmental cold or heat. The aura does not protect against damage dealt by spells, attacks, or extreme conditions that do not allow a save.
Velvet Court Devotion. Aratheia. Aratheia’s nursing and hospitality rites regard a steady breath as a form of sustenance, offered without any obligation to repay it.
Devotional Rite. A willing protected creature may use its own reaction to offer comforting words to another protected creature within 10 feet. The latter may choose to hear them, but the rite adds no further saving-throw bonus.
- Veiled Effects. The first chosen creature to succeed on an eligible saving throw may use its reaction to help a second chosen creature within range, granting that creature +1d4 to its next eligible save before the spell ends.
- Unveiled Effects. Once per casting when a chosen creature other than yourself succeeds on an eligible saving throw against an actual hazard, you may gain 1 Arousal. If you do, one chosen willing creature may reduce its Arousal by 1 after the save resolves. Alternatively, spend 1 Libido when casting to increase the radius to 20 feet; choose one enhancement.
“No storm has learned how to separate two steady breaths.”
