Description
Choose two willing creatures you can see within range. Until the start of your next turn, the first time either creature moves at least 10 feet on its turn, the other may use its reaction to move up to 5 feet without provoking opportunity attacks from creatures adjacent to the first mover. This movement does not increase the recipient’s normal speed and cannot move it through occupied spaces or obstacles.
Velvet Court Devotion. Cyrillith. Cyrillith’s double-step is an intimate ballroom improvisation: two willing partners can share a beat without surrendering control of their steps.
Devotional Rite. Once per casting, after both chosen creatures complete the coordinated movement, they may each voluntarily gain 1 Arousal. If both do, one of them (their choice) gains a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn. If either declines, neither gains Arousal through this rite. This does not alter ordinary attack or movement restrictions.
- Veiled Effects. If both creatures end the movement within 10 feet of one another, each may add 1d4 to the next Wisdom (Insight) check it makes to coordinate with the other before the spell ends.
- Unveiled Effects. If both creatures complete the coordinated movement while avoiding an actual threat, you may gain 1 Arousal after the second movement. If you do, one willing participant may reduce its Arousal by 1. Alternatively, spend 1 Libido when casting to allow the reacting creature to move 10 feet instead of 5. These enhancements do not stack.
“Two hearts rarely keep the same time, until they choose to.”
