Description
Choose one willing creature you can see within range. The target gains 1d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier temporary hit points and has advantage on the next saving throw it makes against being frightened during the duration. Those temporary hit points disappear when the spell ends. Once the saving throw is made, the spell ends for that creature.
At Higher Levels. When cast using a slot of 2nd level or higher, the temporary hit points increase by 1d6 for each slot above 1st.
Velvet Court Devotion. Solynth. Solynth’s gentle-submission rites celebrate praise, soft service and the relief of being cared for by someone willingly trusted. A warm word is an offer, not a command.
Devotional Rite. Once per casting, when a willing creature succeeds on the save aided by this spell, it may voluntarily gain 1 Arousal. If it does, another willing creature within 15 feet of it gains temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. The recipient is free to decline, and this rite does not stack temporary hit points.
- Veiled Effects. If the creature uses the granted saving throw advantage and succeeds, it may immediately stand from prone without spending movement.
- Unveiled Effects. When the target actually succeeds on a saving throw against fear with this spell active, you may gain 1 Arousal after the save. If you do, the target reduces its Arousal by 1. Alternatively, when casting, spend 1 Libido to extend the granted saving throw advantage to the next two eligible saving throws instead of one. You cannot choose both enhancements.
