The Playable Races of Whispers of Erosia: Second Bloom Edition
Before You Choose Your Story
When the Three Mothers watched over a silent cosmos, the world knew neither kingdoms nor gods. Then came the First Desire—the longing to be known, to create, and to become more than one thing alone.
From that sacred yearning came bloom, breath, memory, and flesh. The peoples of Erosia were never shaped from a single mold. They emerged from countless expressions of life: some born of enduring stone, some touched by moonlight and dreams, others awakened through divine blessing, ancient craft, living forests, the endless sea, or powers older than recorded history.
No scholar agrees which people came first. No temple tells the same story twice. This is as it should be.
Erosia does not celebrate sameness. It celebrates expression.
Across rose-crowned cities, mist-veiled forests, mountain halls, hidden sanctuaries, windswept coasts, and moonlit roads, the peoples of Erosia build kingdoms, raise families, pursue knowledge, wage wars, fall in love, and dream of better futures. Every lineage carries triumphs and tragedies, customs and contradictions, virtues and flaws.
None are born pure. None are born lesser. In Erosia, heritage shapes your beginning. Your choices shape everything that follows.
The Truth of Bodies
Bodies in Erosia are not prisons. They are stories carried in flesh. They speak of ancestry, devotion, triumph, sacrifice, memory, and hope before a single word is spoken. Some cultures celebrate transformation. Others honor continuity. Some mark adulthood with tattoos, vows, piercings, ceremonial masks, braided hair, or sacred adornments. Others reject such customs entirely. Many embrace several traditions at once.
Beauty is not measured by one face, one body, one color, one sex, or one shape. A scar may be beautiful. Broad shoulders may be beautiful. Softness may be beautiful. Horns, antlers, tusks, scales, bark, feathers, fur, height, age, strength, grace, and asymmetry all have their place beneath the Three Moons.
To desire and be desired is common.
To define yourself is sacred.

Shadow, Light & Legacy
Every lineage offers unique abilities, cultures, and perspectives, but no race determines who your character must become. As you explore the peoples of Erosia, consider these questions:
- What kind of heritage shaped your character?
- What assumptions do others make about them?
- Which traditions do they cherish—or reject?
- What beauty do they embody?
- What expectation are they hope to overcome?
- What truth lives within their blood?
- What kind of story do you want to tell?
The peoples of Erosia are not cages of destiny. They are the first chapter of your legend.
